Happy Father's Day! I LOVE YOU DADDY!

Just finished wonderful Father's Day dinner with the Swede.  Words cannot describe how much fun we had reminiscing and talking about writing, and planning for the future.  I just thought I'd share some of my favorite pictures as a tribute to this amazing man I'm blessed to call Pappa, Dad.

Patiently tutoring me when I spent 4 months in a body cast for a broken hip, 1974.  See A-Z 2013 for stories.

Goofing around with his three kids.  He did this a lot. We loved it.

Traditional Swedish Lucia, celebrated December 13 each year.  See A-Z 2012 for story.

Asleep with DataBoy.  I still have that sweatshirt.  No lectures about how much I save.  Today.  You can tell me tomorrow ;-)

I love you, Daddy.  Happy Father's Day.

~Tina

You have a wonderful and fun father. And I bet that sweatshirt is older than some of your blog readers. Won't give you grief for it. I have concert t-shirts that are approaching forty.

Dad's who get down on the floor and "wrestle" are the best! In fact, a recent study has shown a myriad of benefits for children whose Dad's do this with them. So glad you and your Dad have a good relationship.

Great pictures, and awesome that you have such a great relationship with your dad. My dad always goofed around with me, and while it doesn't seem like much, that's probably the thing I think of most fondly when I think about my childhood.

What would we do without our dads? You were so lucky to have a wonderful one and a Momarrazzi to record the fact.

Great pictures! Stirs up a sense of nostalgia. I like the shot with the plaid-wearing teddy bear.

That tutoring bit shows his patience and dedication. The Swede is a fun-loving pop, for sure. From the looks of all those pictures and what you've written about him over the years, you have one of the best dads on planet earth. Father's Day was made for people like him :)

And of all who would dare to try to lecture you about all that you save, I wouldn't be one of them. I wish we knew each other back when I threw away my gospel choir robes during a move. Oh how I wish I still had them.

Must have been great having a fun dad like that. When I was little, my father was off training RAF pilots in Rhodesia (during World War II) and late in air transport going all over the world.

Hi human, Tina,

My alleged human is running way behind and has asked me if I would comment on your blog.

So, here goes. This story touches my doggy heart. Your father is a loving man and your love for him shines out in your lovely post. Bless you both, dear human.

Penny :)
